Haunted Mansion vs. Pirates of the Carribean...Which one is better?

I've enjoyed these two rides for my entire life, and I want to know what you all think is better...

Haunted Mansion or Pirates?

At WDW, I prefer the mansion. But my favorite versions of both rides are at Disneyland Paris, and I don't think I could pick a favorite there. They're so magnificent that even the French audio is not disturbing.

The Haunted Mansion is the #1 theme park attraction in the world. As for PoC, I like the DL version better, but it's still amazing at WDW.

know i'm in the minority, but i love POTC! Lots of great memories there, and there's something about rides in the water. Plus you gotta love that song!

Even though I love both of these attractions (at WDW and DL), I would have to say the HM mainly because of the cast member interaction with the guests. I love going into the stretching room and watching the cast member quietly sneek up next to a guest and make them jump! These cast members seem to really get into character and I think make the ride!

My all-time favorite ride is Haunted Mansion.

My husband's all-time favorite ride is Pirates of the Caribbean.

I didn't vote in the poll because our votes would just cancel each other out!

HM! There's just no end to the details that were included on the attraction.

After some close thought.... I'd have to say HM. The pre-show makes the difference, as do the CMs. But it was really close!

If you're only talking about the WDW versions, I would have to say the Haunted Mansion. But the DL Pirates is superb and the choice would be a little harder. I would love to see the European versions.

Well, my husband enjoys PofC better then the HM and I enjoy them both equally.

That's a really difficult decision...

I have a long-running fantasy of being a pirate (okay, I'll grow up... someday) and I really, really want to be able to haunt after I'm gone (okay, I guess I'll never grow up).

I guess I'll choose the Haunted Mansion. Ghosts get much more respect than Pirates!
