Haunted Mansion Holiday?

Ok, I thought I read somewhere a while back that the Haunted Mansion was getting the Nightmare Before Christmas holiday overlay this year....I don't think I dreamed it up but I can't find anything about it. So does anyone know if it or anything else was getting a holiday overlay or am I just completley crazy?

According to the 2k5 Unofficial Guide that me and my wife have, it says that the Haunted Mansion will be updated this fall for the makeover.

Not going to happen this year due to the 50th Celebration. The Nightmare make over has been a rumor for quite awhile. Usually the Nightmare event takes place at DL (the last week of Sept. or first weekend of Oct) and WDW has the Happy Haunts Ball the last week of Oct.

We're hoping the Happy Haunts comes back next year (2006).

It is suppose to be down the month of Sept for the conversion. They are then going to have a multiple month update to enhance multiple items starting in January.

I don't think Disney has officially announced any HMH's for this for any of the parks yet this year. My bf said if they have it WDW, we could take a quick trip in Dec. so I'm hoping they do although I'm not getting my hopes up too much b/c its just rumors right now.

I don't think they'll be doing HMH at either Park this year due to the 50th, like Figment said. I spoke to a CM re. HHB which is not happening this year due to the Celebration. (Crossing my fingers for next year tho!)

Also, I spoke to a person in Special Events at the last HHB about the possibility of HMH coming to WDW - this person said it has been discussed, but the consensus was that it was better suited for DLR & most likely would remain a DLR function.
