Haunted Mansion Holiday?

I am ready to book my trip for either the first or second week in October. My first choice is the first week but I want to make sure that Haunted Mansion will be up and running.

Do they always do the transformation in September and is Haunted Mansion Holiday officially in full swing on the 1st?

I'd rather wait if there is a chance that it may be closed. Thanks!

It should be down Sept 10 - 27th.

And just a little FYI for you:

October 5-7 is Gay Days in DLR. Plan accordingly.

The first weekend in October is also Columbus Day weekend so the park will likely be more crowded than the second weekend.
