Haunted Mansion Holiday - Separate FP network or not?

Hi all,

Okay, I'm hearing varied reports about this one and need a definite answer.

Is Haunted Mansion Holiday's FastPass system on the same network as other Disneyland rides? ie. Can you grab a FP for HMH and another ride before the return time is up?

I'd particularly like to hear from those that have actually been to the park in the last week or two.

I got a haunted mansion fast pass last week, and tried to get a splash mountain fast pass before the time printed on the ticket, and I was denied. (I had thought my return time for the haunted mansion was earlier than it was so I did that by mistake).

I believe that HM fast passes are separate.

It looks like Karen already answered this, but according to the Unofficial Guide, HMH is hooked up to the network. The rest of the year HM is not part of the FP network, just for the holidays.

In the past the HM holiday fastpasses were disconnected. However this year DL did connect it.

I have heard that you can get more than one fastpass at a time if you book your Disneyland trip through AAA. Do not quote me on this, but it might be worth a phone call or check online to see...good luck...HMH is worth the wait!
