Is it closed now? DL list there are no rides closed. I have seen it decorated in The Nightmare Before Christmas theme before around this time of the year.

HM is scheduled to be going through it's holiday install through next Thursday, so the HMHoliday should be ready for your trip. You'll love it! When I saw it the year before last, it looked especially cool at night!

OMG that looks so feakin coool. I cannot wait to ride it. I'm gonna have to watch NBC before I leave to help set the mood. Better yet, I can gi see Corpse Bride. I just love that little Johnny Depp.

My boyfriend and I watched The Corpse Bride last weekend. It was really good and I loved the piano music from the film. I'm waiting for the sheet music to be released. :sunny:

I'm hoping to see it today or tomorrow. Everybody I know that has seen it really likes it. I have to convince my hubby to go.

Thanks for the pics!!! The days are going by so fast, I can almost see the castle now. I'll have to take tons of photos and figure out how to post them here.

If anyone goes through the HM in the next 3 days, pleast post and tell me how many times you see Oogie Boogie! My daughter is afraid of him and I want to be prepared.

I love NBC and can't wait to see the overlay. I also saw Corpse Bride -- it was good and absolutely worth seeing, but just wasn't as special as NBC.

Oh my gosh, I have been reading through all of these threads and thought that NBC stood for the network!!! I even told hubby that NBC sponsored the HM during the holidays. Then, I got to wondering why it was NBC and not ABC since it was Disney and what type of decorations NBC could offer.........

DUH!!!!

I have to go tell hubby the story which, I'm sure, he will enjoy!

I have an album up from when my family and I went New Year's Eve 2001-2002. I took a couple of photos outside as well as in for HM. It was the first time we discovered the change for the holidays and it was incredibly exciting for us! I can't direct link images since it's Geocities, so here's the LINK instead. God, we all looked so different back then!

How long are these decorations up for?

They're usually up until after the first of the year. I can't remember the exact date at this moment in time.

It usually opens the first week of October with the Nightmare Before Christmas decor. New music, great experience! Lines get long, so get a fastpass early! Don't miss it!

We are leaving in a few hours to ride it today! But here are the pics from last year!

Thanks for posting those pics! You made my son's night- he can't wait- the HM was closed the last time we were there (Sept 02), so he hasn't been since 1998, and he LOVES Halloween! Hope you have a great time!

No Problem! I am glad your son enjoyed them! It was very busy at DL last night, but it was worth it for the NBC. I have a few new pics that I will upload later today.
