Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will host Haunted
Halloween Hayrides as follows:

October 18 & 19 7:30-10 p.m.
October 25 & 26 7-10 p.m.
October 28- 31 6:30-10 p.m.

Rides are 20 minutes long, and will depart across from Pioneer
Hall every 30 minutes. Tickets will ONLY be sold beginning one
hour prior to the evening's first ride. There will be NO advance
ticket sales. Rides may be cancelled due to inclement weather.

Tickets are $8 per person; children under age 3 are free.

The last 2 years the halloween hayride has been the highlight of our trip. Does anyone know what theme they are going with this year?

Planning ahead for next year -- since tickets are not sold in advance, how difficult is it to get on one of these rides. We should be down the third week in October, but arriving very late on Friday and leaving the next Friday, so likely would only have one night (Saturday) to do the hayride. If it is so busy that it is possible we may wait around that night and not be able to do it then I won't necessarily factor into our itinerary........

It is very easy to get them. Just arrive early and you might have to wait 45 minutes but you will get on.
