Haunted Hayride at Fort Wilderness

Has anyone ever done the haunted hayride at Fort Wilderness?
My sister and I are going for a girls only trip in Oct. so that we can experience the food and wine fest and MNSSHP.
We were thinking about going over to Fort WIlderness and trying Trails End on our first night, and wondered if the haunted hayride would be worth doing.?

My DH and I did the haunted hayride and loved it. I hope to do it again on my next trip. I think you will like it. It is a lot of fun.

Do you know how fast the tickets go.
I had read somewhere that they go on sale in the morning - for that night. Any chance we would still get a ticket to ride if we waited until we got there for dinner, or should we make a stop over there in the morning before doing anything else?

I've heard that tickets sell out during the morning, so don't wait until dinner time to buy them!
