Ok so I am filling in for a girl today in another building in another town. It doesn't open till 9 but I got here at 730 just to get aquainted with how things were, etc. I was so creeped out I sat in my van for 40 minutes before I got up the nerve to go in.

So I go in and log on the computer, and start to get my stuff together and then I hear a noise in the back! Now you've got to picture this building - its old and on a dead end street and by the railroad tracks. There is an unused office building attached and anyone could get in and hide there.

Anyway I heard the noise so I grabbed my cell and my keys and ran out to my van and waited for the therapist to get here.

I was telling my supervisor and she said it used to be a funeral home! :scared1: I know this is probably silly but I am freaked out.

Do you think funeral homes can be haunted? It got me thinking, I have never heard of a haunted funeral home.

If any building could be haunted, I would think it would be a funeral home!

They're usually already dead when they get to the funeral home unless...:scared:

Could it be that the building is older and the noise was just morning settling?

Or a ghost. Or an animal that got in.

I'd go with ghost. It sounds better.

I thought ghosts tended to hang out in places they were emotionally attached too.. so places like funeral homes and graveyards are generally haunt free except for the fact that they may have once been battle grounds..
