Hats - SW IOA and US

My wife adn I are going ot be wearing hats due to the sun in june! Are there a place on the coasters to put them? I know some parks have bins or somtimes ride ops will take them and hold them until your done. Do they do this or are we going to have to get lockers? Will lockers slow us down? I dont wanna lose our hats adn I dont wanna have to use lockers everytime either.

Sit on them, put them under your shirt, or hold them.

I guess I shouldve been more specific. Her hat is flexible woven and can be sat on or held easily. Mine is a straw cowboy hat. No so easily held and if I sit on it 3 or 4 times itll be ruined. lol Its a cheapy but I like it.

She shouldn't have any problems with hers but yours would probably require a locker.

Please utilize the free lockers at Hulk, Dueling Dragon, Mummy, and MIB. You'll thank me. Mummy team members turn in hundreds of hats in a week. Hulk and Dueling Dragon usually do not recover many of their lost hats since they are over water.

are there usually long lines to get lockers? how do they work is somone there to give one to you or do you just open one yourself?

imo, the locker's do slow u down, especially peak season. However, unless the mrs will be 'bag free' u'll be needing one anyway...get some cargo shorts. Why not buy a new souvie hat @ Universal?-think of it as ur new, special 'park hat' (think the bucket type u can roll up or baseball variety u can stuff away easily)

I wear ball caps all the time and are good for keeping the sun off you plus easier to take off and sit on them and you won't have to get a locker everytime
not to mention you won't be slowed down

I hear disney will be ok that they have places to put bags and hats etc. Is this true?

What about Sea world and Busch Gardens? I know the Busch Gardens at Williamsburg has cunbbies to put stuff on most all their rides does sea world and busch tampa have cubbies at the stations?

i'm not sure about disney.

I wear a simple visor which I just hold on to for all the coasters at Disney,Universal,Busch gardens and Sea World.The ride ops at the coasters always simply just tell you to take it off before the ride begins.The only rides I ever had an issue where they didn't let you just hold them was at Cedar Point on Millenium Force and Top Thrill Dragster where they ask you to stick your hat inside your shirt,I guess since they hit 93 and 120 mph twice as many people would be dropping them versus a 60 mph ride.At Busch and Sea World the lockers are not free and at Universal always remember your locker number cause if you don't you'll have an issue getting your stuff back.
