It's after the bride when you're going out int the graveyard. You can't miss it because it will be in your face. Right now there's a wall with a faux window in it's place.
Thanks. It has been a few years since our last DLR trip, we've been to WDW a bunch of times since then, so I've forgotten what the DLR Haunted Mansion is like (aka the better one).
He was only there for two days because the illusion didn't work properly, and for that era it wasn't something to be made easily so they just scrapped it. His photos remain in the hall of doors, so in spirit he has always been there The illusion was that he is holding a hatbox and his head would disappear from his shoulders and appear in the hatbox.

Do you all realize what this means? It means the HM will now be full with 1,000 happy haunts. Won't be room for one more! (Unless someone moved out) There are those 3 at the end of the ride that are always trying to leave...
I'm not sure that counts. I have photos of people in my home but they don't live here. I think they need to say the HM is full now! But I guess that doesn't really sound as ominous as "room for one more".

I feel like every time I go I'm going to be holding my breath waiting to see if the temporary wall has somehow been taken down early. Only a few more weeks!
I think for me, the excitement is in seeing the ride finally set up as it was originally planned. You see the hatbox ghost in the hall of doors and for me, I've always felt like "why would he be plastered all over there and not be 'materialized' somewhere?" So, for me it just makes it feel like the ride is finally complete.
