hat stage

When we were last at WDW, they had recently erected a temporary(?) stage in front of the hat at DHS.

Is this stage temporary, or in fact permanent at this point? Or does is go up/come down, depending on current events?

It was up for Star Wars Weekends. After that the Monsterous Summer pep rally was supposed to start, not sure how long it will run this summer though. We have been in August before though, when the stage was not there.

I've heard it is "temporary", but that the current plan is to have it up through at least year end.

I hope it goes away soon, as much as I hate the hat, having the stage there makes the view even worse.

I hope they leave the hat in front of the theater and the stage in front of the hat so that they can put a giant Planes statue in front of the stage.

Now you're thinking! Eventually we can have a series of ever worsening monuments going all the way to the front gate.

They could save money by just poking everyone in the eye as they enter the park. Might actually be an improvement.
