Hat for Pin Trading

Has anyone used a hat to display their pins for trading in the parks and resorts? What are the Pros and Cons?

I had a favorite Goofy hat that had a Goofy pin. Then another and another and soon that hat was too heavy and uncomfortable to wear. I think it's good for a few pins, maybe not traders but ones that would catch other collectors eyes. Then once you start talking you could break out the traders.
I've since removed all the pins so that I can now enjoy the hat. LOL

Yup, I agree. No matter what, it gets heavy and hot, and you can feel all those little pin backs sticking into your scalp. I have a Disneyana convention hat that came with a pin, and have never been comfortable wearing it with pins. My son has the vest and really loves it.

I would love a vest. The thing is that I normally wear tank shirts when we go to Disney because we go in the summer. A vest wouldn't work too well with that.
