Hash browns at character breakfast?

Editing this post for clarity. Does Minnie's or any other character breakfasts offer plain shredded hash browns not the seasoned cubed potatoes. I also remember years ago Minnie's had in the dessert area some awesome mini chocolate muffins. Thanks everyone and God Bless you.

With all the craziness going on right now, it may take a while to get an answer for you! Have you tried looking on Yelp to see if there are any recent photos of the buffet and the food at Minnie's? That might give you an idea about the hash browns/potatoes and the muffins. Hope that helps!

Yes, March 5. Friends decided to have a replacement birthday party for me there because I couldn't come over for Pixar Night as we had originally planned.

After all this is over and things return to relative normalcy, you should get a do-over with whatever cake (and however much!) you want! Or... better yet, plan your do-over for something special (Afternoon Tea at S55?) during Halloween Time!

We usually have my "Disney Celebration" Birthday first Saturday when I get in so that everyone can take part. Most of the time it's Minnie's because my friends are neither tea drinkers nor foodies. But we've tried a number of different places on site and off site. We've been to Goofy's, Carthay, and last year in a spur of the moment decision off site because they realized I had never tried Mrs Knotts Famous Fried Chicken in all the years I had been coming.

Request a chocolate cake from Susie Cakes! That can be another new experience that everyone can enjoy! Don't have to be a foodie to like good chocolate cake, right? And if your friends drink coffee or soda, they should be fine if they ever try the Afternoon Tea at S55. DH doesn't drink hot tea or most iced teas, but CMs gladly serve him coffee there every time.

I'll definitely consider Susie Cakes. Though the main goal this year was likely Pym's Test Kitchen in Lokiland... Avengers Campus I mean.

Sadly, I can’t remember ever getting plain shredded hash browns there. Or at any of the other buffets. I don’t understand why they never include them.

Chocolate cake indeed=very tasty! I am not a pie person but Golden Corral makes a delectable chocolate chess pie.

Thanks, Wench. Minnie's used to offer plain shredded hash browns. I think this stopped about 3? years ago or so when the menu was changed. I would think something so simple (and cheap) that appeals to most food preferences would be available. The last time I was at DL and asked, all they had were the fancy (to me) red potato cubes with the skin on them and seasoned. I just don't care for that even plain.
