Has your spouse or significant other...

When my dh's blood sugar is very high it seems as though he does this. But since he's been on Atkins his blood sugar has been under control and this hasn't happened in quite a while.

{{{HUGS}}} sweetie. Are things better today?

My situation is just about the same as D845, right now. He doesn't 'cool down' tho, he just falls asleep and, wakes up with a 'clean slate', in HIS opinion. I DON'T THINK SO!! I'm tired of having nasty, verbal abuses slung at me only to have him 'forget about it' in the morning. It's been weeks/months, a long time and, he has not ONCE attempted to talk to me about US. Really, really sad. :(

(crawls back into hiding) :(
We appear to have two scenrios going here.
scenrio 1
you or SO is mad or upset about something and canot not express it properly so they lash out in the hope that you can read their mind
scenrio 2
you or SO deliberately goads the other in the hope of getting them p*ssed off so they can show how reasonable they can be.

Jim now clains that CIA Tenet knew that some document that Colin Powell read at the UN was a forgery and that Congress will start impeachment hearing on President Bush within 6 weeks. He has all these so-called LONG A$$ articles that "support" what he says (but I have NO desire to read them)

I just really feel he refuses to respect my thoughts on this issue which is SOOO unlike him.

Occasionally DH does this when he is in a bad mood from something that happened at work. If I'm in a bad mood too, then there is an argument. If not, I act like whatever his complaint is is the biggest thing in the world, which usually makes him laugh. If he complains that the carpet needs vacuumed, it looks terrible, how could it get like that, etc. I say "OMG, you're right! Is that a piece of cookie I see? It is a piece of cookie. A piece of cookie actually broke off and I didn't pick it up the second it hit the floor. How could I be so blind?! This is terrible! How could I have let this happen! How! How!, etc."
