DD lost her 1st tooth about 2 weeks ago, right after that one came out another one was wiggling. Yesterday she was eating raw carrots and noticed that her tooth was gone :rolleyes1 LoL.
She was in a total panic about it, "will I be ok" "whats going to happen" etc. I told her she'd be fine and not to worry about it, its so small, etc. LoL has this ever happened to you? How did your kids react? How did you react?

Yep, my 6yo did this Thanksgiving day. Her tooth was loose and her grandfather was wiggling it. She must of inhaled when in came out and down it went. The look on her face was priceless when she realized what happened.

We laughed.. told her she would be ok.

Yep, our daughter lost her 1st tooth while eating dinner....it went down with the food.

We just laughed about it. Her biggest fear was that the tooth fairy wouldnt come!!

This happened to DS(7) last year. He was at school and was eating a sandwich, felt something crunchy and just swallowed it!:lmao: Then he said he tasted a bit of blood, got nervous and went to the nurse and saw his tooth was gone! He asked me if he would be ok, and I told him yes. He then asked if it would come out when he went to the bathroom!:scared1: I said, I suppose so but we won't be looking for it!:lmao: He was just worried he had no tooth to put under his pillow for the tooth fairy! So, he wrote a nice letter to her apologizing for swallowing it and not having a tooth to give her. She felt so bad she left him $1 anyway.;)

Not mine, but one of my little day care kiddos did. Again, her biggest concern was the tooth fairy, but a call from her mom to "Tooth Fairy Central Dispatch" took care of that. :)

Christian has swallowed several teeth over the years, mostly because i am a really bad mommy who refuses to pull loose teeth. So he goes at them during the night and next morning, there's another tooth missing. We never find them in the bedding or on the floor, so he must be swallowing them. Luckily, teeth are easily passed through the system. Kids swallow objects all the time. I have personally been on poop partrol for a safety pin, several pennys, a quarter, beads, and one of a pair of dice. :upsidedow Teeth don't even prompt a raised eyebrow around here.

Happened to my DS twice when he was 6 or 7 - no problems.

DS8 has managed to swallow about 7 teeth one time or the other! No worries leave a note for the tooth fairy.

My nephew did. It was hurting so much, I took him for ice cream to soothe it. He lost the tooth and swallowed it while he was eating the ice cream. he didn't even know it until he was finished. At first he was upset but I told him to leave the tooth fairy a note and he would still get money. that calmed him down, lol!

Couple lost in sleep that ended up being swallowed. I think the bigger dissapointment came with not having something to give to the tooth fairy.

both of my kids have swallowed a tooth. DS while eating Dorritos, DD was fiddling with hers, had a gag reflex and then ended up swallowing it. Neither had any problems from it. I wrote a note to the toothfairy to cover them. ;)

Yes, in a restaurant. I told her if she wanted the tooth that badly she could look through her poop for it. She opted to leave the tooth fairy a note! :rotfl2:

As an adult I lost a huge back crown. Didn't have a clue I'd swallowed it.

The dental office kept asking me if I'd retrieved it. NO - and I was not looking either. Absolutely no problem except for paying for a new crown.

I swallowed a tooth when I was a kid while eating a piece of melty Easter chocolate. I remember writing a note to the tooth fairy, and being so happy when she left me the money even though there was no tooth.

:lmao: I can totally relate to this warning!!
