Has your child done modeling or acting for an agency?

You are being taken for a ride!

You don't pay agencies---EVER!!!!

My daughter's have done acting classes with an acting coach who knows the ins and out of the industry with children.

You don't pay agencies--agencies find you work!

Agencies should NOT be schools!

They can suggest you get headshots that can cost a bit--but not $700!!!!! And not always necessary either! They are a good thing to have once you get going (for acting headshots)--but from those whom have done the modeling, they just use prints from work they have done (I forget what it is called.)

They should not be suggesting services for which they get kickbacks either!

DO NOT GO WITH WHATEVER IT IS YOU ARE PLANNING TO DO!!!

IF you want, I can dig through my notes on what this coach suggested and how to go about it--but one thing I do remember is that you never pay an agency a dime! Ever!

You should only ever agree to sign with agencies who ONLY get paid when their talent does.

You should never sign an exclusive agreement either (until maybe you are well established in the business).

The reason they say good for only 2 years is b/c in 2 years they will again want you to cough up money. (Also b/c as the child ages, their expensives photos become a bit worthless.)
