We used to  Trail's End breakfast buffet. But then I read awhile ago that it had really gone downhill.

Has it improved any in the last couple months?

And how about lunch & dinner ... are they holding their own, or spiraling downward?

In MY honest opinion, we love TE. My dad says he wants to eat at TE every morning :thumbsup2 I told my dad "a lot of people think TE has gone downhill" and he didn't think so

BUT

we are not picky at all, I am happy with Mickey Waffles, muffins, hashbrowns, and fruit... that's all I need

It is true the variety is not as big as what it once was but FOR US it is just fine!

We also had dinner, and I thought the selection was great! I was very impressed with dinner selections.... mmm those scalloped potatoes were so good :cloud9:

I think it depends on how picky your family is, for us it works, but not for others :goodvibes

I agree with the PP, except the giddy up chicken to go.

Although we have always loved to eat at Trails End, we were suprised to see that on our last visit in March 2010, the food was dramatically improved with some great new offerings as well. During that time, the staff did mention that they were trying out some different foods and were wanting to hear feedback from the customers. I hope those new dishes, as well as the traditional ones, have stayed as they were very good. My next visit is Nov 15-19, 2010 and I will post what is going on there.

I always thought the food was decent but when I saw that the price went up a good bit this year, we decided not to eat there. it's not worth $22 for the dinner buffet.

We still eat breakfast there once a trip, but I really don't think that it's as good as it used to be. I won't even try dinner anymore. It made me sick the last 2-3 times I ate. The lunch prices are ridiculous, so I won't be trying it, either.

I really like TE, for breakfast & dinner. But the price is a bit crazy. the other night we had a great dinner there though......we shared a nachos at Crocket Tavern with 2 beers, tax & tip, for under $20. at least we were sitting in TE. lol
