Has this MINNIE been FAKED???

I have seen this pin in the past and when I spotted it in Salt Lake City during the olympics I grabbed it. I think it is a disney pin that has been faked into a HARD ROCK pin. When you look really close with magnification the HARD ROCK looks like it is painted on same with ANTWERP but not as obvious. Has anyone else seen the original MINNIE with a PILLOW that does not have the painted on stuff? On the back of the pin is <circled C> DISNEY

I do not know anything about the pin's authenticity but many pins these days are using silk screening to print text and logos that would be too small to be colored properly in cloisonne'. I have one of the Night before Christmas pins in front of me ant the text on the green banner at the bottom is printed using the silk screen process.

I have not seen this exact pin, but have some Disney/Hard Rock pins. They are fantasy pins. Really cool though since I love both Disney and Hard Rock.

Today I searched for the pin without Antwerp and Hard Rock on it and was surprized what I found there is a Minnie with red pillow that says Coca-Cola, a Purple clothed Minnie that says Euro Disney, there is a Purple clothed Minnie with pillow that says Antwerp, and a Purple one that says Antwerp and Hard Rock just like the one I bought???? Can people buy this pin and put things on it???? or are they made up that way???? interesting. Definatelly going to hang on to it and any other like it I find, just for the fun of it.....

Whoever makes these pins tend to make them in many different sponsors, colors, etc. just as you said.

There are several Mickey Hard Rock pins that are just different colors, some of them have Coca Cola on them, some have other sponsors, some have different cafe' names. I'm not sure who makes them, but what you are describing is very typical.
