Has this happened to anyone at Universal?

Last week I was at Universal/IOA and everytime I went through the scanner to get in, my fingerprint wouldn't register. My husband and children would go through just fine, then when it was my turn, I would put my pointer there, no reading. We would then try the thumb, nothing. The attendant would then tell my husband to use his fingerprint, and that's how I got in.

I am curious if this has happened to anyone else or do I just have goofy fingerprints?

I have a 15 month annual pass and don't think I've ever gotten in a single time without incident. As you mention, the rest of the family usually marches on through and I get held up. Most annoying. I've showed ID a couple of times, but usually eventually they just pass me through. These obviously have a lousy system.

we've had problems w/current PAPs, yet after trying it a couple times, we just get waived thru...after reading this thread i'll consider it a gift:goodvibes

Why are there pictures on the Premiere Passes if they still need to scan you?????
Who knows...I don't think they need them either but rather when the scanner is acting up, just look at the picture sooner. It's very aggrevating to say the least.
