There has been very little in the way of official news announcements at this point. Lots of rumors and speculation, but that's about all.

There was this announcement:

However, as you can tell, neither has much information. The latest rumors are that there should be a big announcement tomorrow...we'll see...

Recommend to visit the Miceage/ Micechat website for the latest rumors. Among them...improved fireworks and parade, updated Soarin' video/ camera output, updated DL dark rides, Matterhorn and Splash MTN.

Yeah I know what you mean. Ive Googled high and low and can't find anything on official announcements. Probably why there is no one else is posting about official announcements or it would be flying across these boards like wildfire.

I've heard about general refurbishments and upgrades to some of the rides, and a new fireworks show, but that's about it. We are going in June, can't wait!

Thank you, figment_jii, for pointing out that very important fact! It is always important to emphasize that -- unless the information comes directly from an official Disney website/source, or unless the website that is reporting on the events can include a link to an official Disney site -- it's a rumor, and it's unofficial, and details of the events can change, other elements can be added in or removed, cancelled, etc.

MiceAge is good to read for rumors -- but some things they report on come to fruition and some never see the light of day!
