Has the MK deluxe resort extra hours ever been on a Monday?

I know in general that the deluxe extra hours are usually EP on Mondays, and MK on Weds. However, I'm primarily interested in the MK extra deluxe hours and trying to book our rooms around this. Does anyone have experience with the extra extended hours being at MK on days other than Weds?

I don't have personal experience, but there is a calendar that shows past hours for the Disney parks in recent years. Looking at it, I see MK having Extended Evening hours on Mondays (including April 10, 2023), Tuesdays and a Friday, as well as the more-common Wednesday.

That is generally the schedule they use. The times when they tend to do something different are the weeks that have lots of PM activity at MK, like the weeks leading up to Halloween, and mid-December when there are many MK nighttime pay events. (Those few weeks they have sometimes swapped to offering extra hours at HS. At least from what I have noticed.

Now that isn't to say WDW can't change something, but IMO, it does not seem likely they will add extra deluxe hours on other nights.


I would not be surprised to see WDW adding more pay events later this year. WDW's Halloween now starts in mid-August. The amount of holiday creep at WDW is pretty crazy.

Its a good gamble if you are not going during holiday season.

Be nice if they put out the calendar a little further in advance, currently its only through 4/15. But at least you should know a couple months out to maybe try and change if needed.
