we fixed that problem before we moved into our house in Salem 10 years ago, use three colors to sponge paint the walls. when we left and had to patch the dog holes he tore into the hallway corners ( BAD DOG), wife was able to blend the three colors. My first house of 20 years was historic, so we kept walls with wallpaper.
