With more people getting the early bird check-in, has anyone had trouble getting seats together when you have also gotten early bird check in? I keep thinking we will have a problem - there are 5 of us - 2 adults & 3 kids - one in a car seat. I am getting ready to do EBCI and keep thinking we are going to have this problem.

With the ages of your kids, you are guaranteed to get on no later than after A. You shouldn't have a problem but you may have to go to the back. I'd do the EBCI, the earlier you purchase it, the lower boarding # you will get.

I tried EBCI for our flight down in Oct. We got A16-19! I guess it's probably more popular now compared to back then.

I wouldn't stress out. We have flown SWA many, many times since our youngest qualified us for family boarding and now he's almost 10. The worst case scenario is that they don't let your entire family board together. It's possible they could have 1 parent do family boarding and your oldest child go with the other parent and follow what's on their bp. I guess it depends on the GA and how many small children are on your flight. When there are LOTS of families, they may limit the # of other family members that can board with the little ones. kwim?

We even once had C passes. Originally had A passes but when we arrived at MCO, we discovered the flight prior to ours was delayed to due snow back home. Since my kids had school the next day and didn't want to get home at midnight, we requested moving to the earlier flight. They accommodated us but our new bps were Cs. Dh took one ds, and I took the other, know if we at least found 2 seats together, kids wouldn't be alone. We were very separated but at least each child had a parent next to him.

Even with high Bs once we still had all 4 of us together. In the back of the plane, but together. :thumbsup2

back of the plane doesn't matter to me. as long as ther is ateast one adult with 2 kids and one with the other kid.
ETA: if EBCI gives us B#, are we able to board between A & B groups as a family? The girls are 2,4 & 6.
