Has KIOSK situation changed?

I learned here on this site about the "will call kiosk" for picking up tickets. Just purchased my Power Pass (for hotel discount) and the rest of our tickets, in one big order. :thumbsup2

The confirmation email says, in BOLD letters:

"To pick up your tickets, follow the signs to the Will Call Kiosks, which are only located at the front gate of either Universal Stdios Florida or Islands of Adventure theme parks."

I thought there were kiosks at the hotels... And I was sort of assuming (hoping!) that they would have one at the new Cabana Bay, since that is where we are staying.

Thoughts?

Remember that UO doesn't know you are staying onsite. As far as I know the kiosks at hotels are pretty new so it makes sense it hasn't gotten to the ticket email confirmation.

I think that the website just hasn't been updated since they added the kiosks at the hotels and Citywalk. They probably also don't want people stopping in at the hotel to pick up tickets if they aren't guests there.

I didn't realize the hotels had ticket kiosks now! I made a mistake and bought a will call ticket for my daughter - so when we get our Express Passes at RPH, I assume I can then go to the ticket kiosk and get her ticket, rather than waiting to do it at the gate? That would be awesome (and make up for my silly mistake I've been beating myself up over).

Great points -- thank you! :thumbsup2

I am a total newbie but YES, I'd say stop beating yourself up! ;) At the kiosk, you will need the confirmation number from your email AND the credit card you paid with. You swipe the card and, voila! That's the way I understand it.
