Has Garden Grill gotten really popular?

I have never had any issue or difficulty getting ressies there in the past. Even with free dining. This time though....no luck at all. Really want ressies on December 4th of this year. Is it closed for refurb and I've missed it? Anyone gotten an ADR there for December?

It was open for dinner in June. I haven't seen any new about a refurb. People either love GG or hate it. Just keep trying!

It still isn't that popular - we saw walk-ups being seated a few weeks ago. But, remember, it is only open for a few hours each day for dinner (4:30-8:30?), so with only a few hours to accommodate, it fills up quicker.

I have a reservation for 12/4/10 at 4:50pm, made mine on my ADR day in june, hope to switch to CP package when they ever open that up, that might be the reason you can't get a table right now, they are holding spots in the participating restaurants according to other threads I have read.

I don't think that it's necessarily gotten more popular; I think it's been more difficult to get an ADR since they cut lunch out and only offer dinner there.

Yes, Chip & Dale! The look on my husband's face was priceless when he saw that Chip & Dale are at the restaurant. Which is why I keep trying, and trying, and trying...

This has certainly been one of the biggest issues all around Epcot at the participating restaurants. Several were already "booked" at 190 days out.

Keep trying, and especially try harder when the CP packages are released (as there'll likely be several canceled non-package reservations at that time).

We're going the first week in November and it looks like there's plenty of availability. It might be because of CP.

I'm also hoping that once Via Napoli starts taking reservations on the 6th, that spots become available from people cancelling GG in favour of VN!

We ate there in November and really enjoyed it. This time... not good.

Poor service. He was simply unfriendly, inefficient and absent most of the time. At one point he ran by the table and took the serving plate. He returned with dessert and the bill. So much for "all you can eat family style."

The quality had dropped noticeably from November. The steak was fattier. The fish was more bland. The turkey was the same. The dessert was supposed to be the same, but it did not taste at all like it did in November.

The character interaction was outstanding, but that's about it. We probably won't go back.

Sorry, you didn't have a good experience. We on the other hand, had a good experience a few weeks ago. We had given GG a rest after several years of bad experiences, and we decided to give it another try, as they changed the menu, and it was a good time!

In regards to your comments about food, they just recently changed the menu, according to our server and the hostess, so not sure how you got the same food last November? Dessert and salad are different for sure, and the stuffing seemed different from the last time we were there.

I'm 98% sure it's because of the candlelight processional packages. They must have blocked off the VAST majority of the restaurant for those. --Katie

Keep up with the CP Package thread on the reservations board to get information. They're simply going day by day at this point and no one seems to know when they will actually be opened.

Hi! We are going for the first time on 11/28-table for 6-I made our ADR right at the 180 day mark so that's how I squeezed in there. I really need to add 1 more person on to our ADR, but have been unable to so far.
