Has EE had any impact on the safari sprint?

Are fewer guests heading straight for KS at AK now that EE is open? I am guessing "yes," but at the same time KS is so wonderful first thing in the morning. I love to grab a FASTPASS for KS. Ride it in the stand-by line and then ride it again using my FASTPASS. I am afraid if we head to KS first, EE will be crazy by the time we get there.

By the way, I am sorry, I am sure this topic has been covered before, but through the summer and the start of school for the little guys I was not as faithful of a DISer. I am back, competely committed, and slighty obsessed with my Disney planning. :goodvibes

Much thanks! :daisy:

I would say yes. My last visit, the lines for Kilimanjaro were never more than 20 minutes and fastpasses were available. That was a real first for me to see. :earseek:

I was there the last week of August, which was not that crowded (relatively), but you definitely saw a sprint to EE first thing and KS was not as busy as it was before. I would definitely recommend getting FP for EE before going to KS, as EE fastpasses can go quickly.

In July and August when we were there, we definately noticed the shift to everyone heading to EE instead of the Safari. Some of our better trips on the safari was later in the day before the park closed. We were able to get right on at that time.

We didn't even bother riding KS this trip. I've never understood the hype with this ride. It was ok the first time I rode it, but I was never thrilled with it.

I know that some love this ride, but I think EE has taken over AK as "the" ride to ride.
