Has Easter ever been discounted?

Has Easter ever been discounted with a code,etc?I know AAA does,but wondering if anything else has been used during this time?Most everything has blackout dates for holidays for this kind of thing,but if you have gotten a discount in the past (room,or package) for Easter or any holiday,please share.Thanks

In the past IF there was a code that exipred prior to the holiday period, if you checked in by that date, you received the discount rate for your entire stay. With Disney changing to different rate per night (ie weekends are more than weekdays), this no longer applies. They used to have the rate valid when you checked in, was your rate for you whole stay, but this is no more. I have NEVER (doesn't mean it hasn't happened) seen discounted rates during the holiday periods (Easter and Christmas), and don't hold much hope of ever seeing them. The parks and hotels are usually at full capacity, so there is no need t o discount. We've beeen the past 3 Easters and no discounts could be found, and the place was MOBBED!!!!

We have gotten a few days discounted during the Easter trips in the past, but this was years and years ago. I think I remember an annual pass discount for a few days at the start or end of a trip, again this was a long time ago, and we haven't been for Easter for quite a while. Thinking of going then this year as the kids have an extra day off school, plus we just bought AP's, the first time since the MYW passes started.

If yo plan on going either the week before or the week after, there will be no discounts found, except AAA. Those are considered holiday rates for WDW and they don't lower those, even for AP rates, they'll go up until the Wed before the Easter weeks and won't resume until a week after Easter.

We got a room only discount in 2005 - we checked in on the Monday after Easter. I think we paid $69 per night for Pop (may have been $79).
