Has DCL historically done sales for Labor Day? Other holidays?

We are looking to book a cruise for October 2019 in the next few days. I'm curious if Disney tends to run sales for holidays/special days like Labor Day or Black Friday. Ive never sailed with DCL, but have sailed the other three mainstream lines (NCL, RCCL & CCL) which do sales near constantly. I guess I could probably cancel and re-book if a sale comes a long, but with Labor Day right around the corner I figured I'd ask to see if I should wait. Thanks

No holiday sales. The cheapest times to book are either as close to opening day as possible, or if the cruise gets a last minute GT discounted rate with restrictions in the last few months before the cruise. You can't tell in advance if a cruise will get a GT rate, though.

If you're a Florida resident or qualify for a military rate, there are sometimes last-minute discounts exclusively available to those groups, as well.

They are more likely to jack up prices for holidays since that's when people are off and they don't need to pull kids out of school. The only sales I've ever seen are random discounts for Florida residents, military and Canadians (there was a Kids Sale Free for Galveston cruises for a while but that was a special situation I wouldn't expect to see again soon). Then there are the *GT offers but those don't typically happen until at least 75 days prior to sailing and only if the ship isn't selling well. If you know that's when you want to sail, book now. It's probably the lowest you'll see it and you have plenty of time to cancel if you find another offer or change your mind.

No Disney does not do sales. They do offer discounts closer to sale date. These are restricted rates and you will not be able to choose a stateroom. They used to pop up about 60 days out, but currently there are some for December, January and even one in April. If I wanted to sail in October I'd probably wait until July or August to book, but that's me. If you're happy with the price I'd book it.

I WISH DCL did sales, but alas, the cheapest price you will get is booking opening day, unless you are willing to wait and take a chance on a discount after PIF date.

Until Disney has more ships than they can regularly fill or there is another disaster causing people not to travel you will not see a regular Disney Cruise Line sale. As people have already said there are some last minute deals and some special rates ( Florida residents, military, cast members,Canadian residents).

There are a couple of sales that come to mind, like the first year in NYC and Galveston they overestimated the demand. There was one year they had problems in Europe filling cruises. So a sale isn't impossible, but not anything you can depend on.
