We are looking into possibily staying at Sheraton Resort or Sheraton Villages.

Are they located in different locations?

Have both of them been completely refurbished? We don't like staying in old run down places.

The pictures look beautiful. And they offer a great deal for the money.

Thank you Kindly.

I have stayed at the vistana villages twice now and really like it. It is smaller than the vistana resorts. The villas are very nice. We stayed very close to the pool. Just a short walk. We had a two bedroom suite. there is a king in one room and the other room has its own bath and two double beds. It is very close to sea world.

We've stayed at both and enjoyed our stays at the two Orlando Vistanas. They're located about 4 miles apart. The older Vistana Resort is located on SR 535 and is closer to Disney property of the two timeshare resorts. Vistana Villages is a newer (and smaller) resort and is located on International Drive (south) close to the Premium Outlet Mall and more convenient to SeaWorld and SeaWorld's Aquatica water park.

I thought that the Vistana Villages villas were nicer than those we'd stayed at at Vistana Resorts but most of the Resorts villas have been refurbished over the past year or two and we've not stayed there after the refurb. I believe that the only section at Vistana Resorts that hasn't been refurbished yet is the Courts section and Courts is scheduled for updating this year. Vistana Villages is relatively new - I believe that the fourth section of the resort, St. Augustine, was just finished and that some amenities are being relocated there this year. So I don't think that any of the Villages villas have been refurbed yet. The villa that we stayed in last month in the Key West section was very nice and I thought that it was in much "newer" condition than the last (pre-refurbishment) villa that we stayed in at Vistana Resort. There's nothing run-down about the Villages resort.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay at either of these resorts but if I were pressed to pick one for my family it would be the Vistana Villages. You should research both resorts to determine which would better meet your family's vacation needs.

Hi,

Sorry to the OP for hijacking the thread :goodvibes

I just wondered where the best place to book either of these resorts is?

I have looked at the websites but the prices are pretty high and I like to see pictures of the actual unit I would be staying in.

Thanks for any suggestions :goodvibes

Look for the 'Sponsored Links:' from Dreams Unlimited Travel up at the top of this page. Or find a resort owner who is attempting to rent her/his week at a site like www.redweek.com or www.tug2.net.
