Has anything replaced Pooh Corner & Disney Tails?

Last December when my family & I were at WDW I was looking for a t-shirt of Piglet for my best friend at Pooh Corner. Well for some reason we did not see any Pooh & friends clothing, just stuffed animals. We asked a Cast Member & he said the Disney company does not own the rights anymore to Winnie The Pooh so they would have to stop selling his merchandise. We went back to Downtown Disney on our last day only to find that doors to Pooh Corner were closed because of what the Cast Member told us. Anyway I was wondering has WDW opened a new store there & why did they have to close Disney Tails? I know they were connected to Pooh Corner but they sold different merchandise, so why did they have to close.

P.S. I was lucky enough by a fluke to find a Piglet shirt for my friend at the Character Premier store so was happy about that.

Before Pooh Corner closed I was at the Magic Kingdom a week before & nothing was taken away. It's funny because over there they had Pooh shirts & stuffed animals, so it was weird there was no Pooh clothing at Pooh Corner. This was last December so maybe something has happened since then with the ride.

We were at both DTD and MK in Feb, March & May and my SIL is a castmember at MK (and a big Pooh fan) and I haven't heard about any of this (not surprisng though, I must admit that I'm usually the last to know). I hope someone has the inside scoop.

Disney Tails was there in May. I bought some items for my pups.

World of Disney KIDS - Formerly Pooh's Corner, now offering a wide assortment of merchandise including clothing, plush toys and collectibles. This shop is located opposite the Days of Christmas.

Oddly enough, they recently put the sign for Pooh Corner back up. The merchandise has not changed since they made it World Of Kids. There is very little pooh merchandise other than plush. Most of the same merchandise is available at World Of Disney.

Disney Tails is still there and they have quite a bit of merchandise.

As far as I know, Disney has NOT lost the rights to Pooh & friends. In fact, this year they're celebrating Pooh's 80th "birthday" with all sorts of new items.
