Has anyone tried to make P.S. in MGM for May?

We are going on Memorial Day and were told that seating for lunch didn't start at any of the restaurants until 12. And the last seatings were 6.

Does anyone else find this odd? We were only able to get a 2:25 lunch and a 4:40 dinner - we couldn't eat that close together!

Anyone else out there frustrated!

It seems the MGM restaurants release better times as you get closer to the dates for some reason. Try calling back about 3 weeks before.

Several weeks ago I made a PS for 7:05 pm at 50's Prime Time for Sunday May 8th.

I just changed my dinner PS for 5:30 at 50's Prime Time to Lunch at 2:00 just minutes ago. Did not want to take a chance of missing the parade on the last day of Star Wars weekend. My DH just luvs SW.

It really kills me how little their own reservationists know about things. I just called to see if I could move up our PS for Sci Fi for lunch from 12:15 to 11:00 and she said that lunch starts at 12. I said. "Oh, really, that's odd, because last time we were there we ate at 11." Oh well. Just another example of how some of us here on the DIS know more that Disney's own CM's.
I guess I'll try back closer to our trip, and if that doesn't work we'll just show up at 11 and hope we can get in. We had no trouble last time, but it was in Oct. which was less busy than June will be I bet.
