Hi, im hoping someone might be able to help me, we are travelling in november and know that we are going to need 2 strollers as ds1 will be just turning 4 and ds2 will be 17mths. taking 2 stollers plus luggage on a ten hr flight through immigration etc seems like too much of a nightmare to contemplate so planning on just having my meitai sling for the youngest and ds will be able to walk or ride on his trunkie in the airport.

The strollers in disney are just not comfortable (used them before ) plus have to be left at the parks, which means carrying the boys back to rooms/car etc, so this doesn't seem an attractive idea either.

Having looked online i found a company called A babys best friend which rents out baby equipment including double stollers at quite a reasonable price, which could be the answer to our problem however im just wondering if anyone has used them before and if their equipment is really any good. Not sure if i can paste a link but here it is:

Thanks in advance any thoughts or alternatives would be gratefully received.

You could rent a Sit and Stand stroller from them. That would work with your kids ages.

I have a similar stroller, the Joovy Ultralite Caboose. It's not nearly as cumbersome as a traditional double stroller.

I have never used them, but I have seen lots of people give them good reviews on here! Good luck!

Used them when I forgot my stroller when my son was 16 mths and I was 7 month pregnant! They were great!

We used them for a full-size crib when my ds was 6 months. The crib and bedding was in great shape and it was all very clean. I would highly recommend them!

FYI, the Joovy and Sit-N-Stand do not have much of a recline, so napping might be a challenge for your 17mo. Either would be an awesome solution if not for that one thing. I almost bought one for my upcoming trip until I realized that fact. We're taking 2 strollers and flying also, so not really looking forward to that part, but I finally realized it's the only optoin that will work for us.

I have used them for a full sized crib and a couple of other things that at the moment I can't remember? I was really pleased! Everything was waiting for us at the poly when we checked in-they were very friendly and efficient!

We rented a double stroller in May of 2006 from ABBF. Our twins were 4 on that trip, and I didn't want to drag a stroller through the airport.

All went well, the stroller was in good condition. I would certainly rent from them again. I did have a scare on the first day... they said that the stroller would be at the resort by a certain time and to be sure to call them if it was late. I was afraid something happened on our end! but.. they were just so busy that day, their deliveries were taking longer than expected. Still, it was only about 2 hours late. Good to busy!

I have also heard of another service. It's called Frosty's Baby Equip Rental. I have not used them, but they are recommended by one of the large house rental agencies. I would think they would have to be good to get their recommendation...

many thanks for your replies, and positive reveiws, think this might be the way for us to go.

Thanks again
