Has anyone used the shuttle from Calypso Cay hotels?

Hi all. Planning another trip, off-site this time and looking for comments from anyone who's used the shuttle to Disney and/or Universal from the Calypso Cay hotels, either Amerisuites or Country Inn & Suites. Thank you!!

I did not use the shuttle. Here is why, it is a shared shuttle between many hotels, thus probably many stops.

We had a rental car, but I thought I would try it the first day, see how it went. We went to the spot they told us to wait, and we waited, and we waited....

Parks opened at 9:00 am when we were there. When it got to be 8:15, my husband said heck with this, and we hopped in the car.

We were parking our car in less than 10 minutes at WDW. So we paid a parking fee, it was worth it to be able to leave the park, then go somewhere for dinner when we were done.

I would stay here again, it's a great place. If you are flying, rent a car. I only paid $200 for my rental for 10 days. A towncar trip to and from the airport will cost you half of that with tip. Paid 39.50 for my room with two double beds. Loved that!

IowaGirl: Thanks so much for the info; I had no idea it was a shared shuttle. We're actually driving down this time so I guess we'll just drive to the parks as well. Traveling with three kids is NOT the time to test run shuttles! Thanks again!
