Has anyone used the kids club service??

Hi

Has anyone ever used the kids club services/activities, where they watch your children for a monetary amount. I see there are various resorts that offer this service.

How was your childs experience there? Would you recommend any of them?

We used the clubs at the Polynesian, AKL, and Beach club. DS, now 7, loves them. He will go to the club at Beach club during our August trip--at HIS request.
He really liked Neverland club at Polynesian (Peter Pan theme-they climb through the window to enter.) His new favorite is Sandcastle club at Beach club because of the variety of video games.
There are arts and crafts and assorted games, inlcuding video games. There will show a movie as well. They also serve dinner (the typical mac and cheese, burgers, etc.) I think the cost is now $12 an hour. They have a 24 hour cancellation policy or else you are charged a minimum fee. Minimum age is either 3 or 4, I think it is 4. The child must be potty trained. We have always had good experiences with the CMs working in the clubs. You are given a beeper in case they need to reach you.

My kids (6&8) love Cub's Den at WL. They always suggest DH and I go on a "date" so they can go to Cubs Den. They would go every night if they could.

we have used both the AKL club and the one at Yacht and Beach club, and they were both very good. My daughter had a nice evening at both, I've no idea what they did as she wasn't telling, but she had some pictures she'd coloured and she seemed to have made a craft at both of them, she also had dinner there.
We got to go to MGM and see Fantasmic which was a bonus (my dd is terrified of the dragon so we hadn't seen it before), and we enjoyed a lovely peaceful evening at Jiko, so everyone was happy. We will use them again, I am sure.
