Has anyone used the "Give a day get a day" Fastpass option?

How did that work?
What does it get you?
How smoothly did the transaction happen?
etc...etc...etc...:confused3

We don't need a ticket, and are thinking of the fast pass option. Each time I talk to Disney, I ask the same question and each time I get a different answer.

Thanks!:goodvibes

I just read the site you suggested... very different from what they (Disney phone people) have described.

We don't need a ticket, and are thinking of the fast pass option. Each time I talk to Disney, I ask the same question and each time I get a different answer.

We used them in March.

1) we took our passes/tickets to will call and showed our GAD documentation. They then scanned our tickets and gave us the special GAD FP cards for me and UP TO 5 other people in my party.
2) Each park was "split" into two, normally with one group of "higher demand" attractions and one group with "less popular" attractions. You get 3 FP for IMMEDIATE return for each "group." For example, Toy Story Mania was on the Studios list, so we used all 3 of our FP for that group on that one attraction.

The nice thing was -even if all normal FP were gone for the day.. you can still obtain FP with your special GAD card.

Hope that helps....we has a group of 12 and used them at each park...so let me know if I can answer any questions.

Are we allowed to hop to another park and use another voucher to get additional FP cards???? We'll be at BWV and it will be very easy to go between Epcot and DHS in one day.

Apparently there is a computer restriction that prevents the average CM from scanning a ticket and associating a second FP Exchange Card to the ticket in the same day (this is done more or less for accounting/abuse reasons more so than any restriction on needing to use your ticket as well). In generally they just need the supervisor to override it, which for the most part is quick and painless. I remember one case where the CM was a bit stubborn about it but the supervisor came over anyways and did the override.

More than likely they don't want someone to run around with a park ticket and a bunch of vouchers somehow from going around to the parks and getting the cards to turn around and sell them.

The card you get at a particular park is only good at that park, however, so leftover credits won't carry with you to the other park.

So, we can't Park Hop and get another FP card at the other park even though we have an additional voucher???? If so, that stinks! We earned them and should be allowed to use two in the same day if we choose.

We have a sticky situation because we'll be at WDW for one day before we embark on a cruise. While on the cruise the vouchers expire. We have four vouchers. So, we will only have one day to use the vouchers. I was hoping to be able to use two vouchers in one day and get the other option (special pins) for the kids. I know if I call Disney, I will probably get one answer and if I call back, I'll get another answer. We may try and risk it and use two vouchers at two different parks in one day. The worst they can say is "no". :wizard:

No, you CAN, but you need a supervisor override to get the second card.
