Has anyone used the free gift card from the promotion??

I'm wondering if the gift card can be used towards the room, tickets, or dining? What about spa treatments, BBB, pirate league? What are the restrictions? I'm sure I could easily spend $500 on just souveniers- but I don't want to if it could go to better use.
Please help!

My understanding from my travel agent is you can use it for anything that takes a Disney gift card. I'm assuming that all disney parks/activities take Disney cards I plan on using mine for souvineres and tips/extra snacks & dining.

My friend used her for food mostly (didn't DDP). They take them anywhere you can use a gift card.
