Has anyone used the barber shop in MK?

Supposedly there's a barber shop on Main Street somewhere? I read it's a popular place for "1st haircuts". We're thinking of trying to hold out until then (Dec), but I don't know if we'll make it... DD is just growing so fast! Hair and all! Anyway, has anyone heard of this or experienced it? Is it specifically aimed at kids or is it a general barber shop? TIA!

It's geared for all ages not just kids. However they do a wonderful job cutting kids hair and distracting them if they get a bit upset. We took my 10 year old and he enjoyed it. In the seat across from us was a 1 year old boy getting his first haircut and it went well. They gave him lots of stickers and a babies first hair cut mickey's ears. Well worth the 15 minute wait and the few bucks.

This is one of my favorite things to do at MK!
I have my three boys (DS8 DS5 DH39) get their hair cut and 'colored' as my souvenir each trip. They resist at first, but then each one loves the comments and such throughout the day. We've had purple, green, (Tigger) orange, Buzz blue, etc...warning, the colors are wild and will wash out (but be glad its not your towels and tub!)
I'm hoping DS5months can get his first cut there, too!

For a first haircut this place is by far the best bargain in Disney. As I'm sure you know WDW is a money making machine and yet in the middle of it all is this bargain.

They do a great job and you get great pictures.

I can't remember the exact price, but we left with an excellent haircut, great pictures, amazing memories, a pair of Mickey ears, stickers, confetti and a certificate. It was around what we now pay at home for him for just a regular cut.
