Has anyone used Restaurant.com?

I tried it and it wanted an American zip code. It wouldn't accept a Canadian Postal code. I'd like to get the $25 gift certificate for $3.00

I used the address of a Disney area resort. I don't expect anything will be mailed out; it's all done by email. I picked up two restaurant.com certificates this way which I expect to use early in the new year.

I'm always nervous about things on the computer. Especially when they want my CC#. I hope we don't have any problems.

I actually used paypal when I bought mine. That way it doesn't need US Zip code. There is a link for paypal on the page when you are purchasing. I have done it the last 2 years! Good luck.

Did they e-mail you a coupon you had to print out and take to the restaurant?

They email you a link that you can use to access your certificate. The page it links to has your ceritificate which you would then print. My guess is that this is so that it can only be printed once.

It's that printed certificate that you take to the restaurant. There is a phone number on it that the restaurant management would use to authenticate the thing.

I had no worries about using my credit card. It's a very professional site.

Protip: if you have a second email address you use for non-important things, you might want to use that. I'm glad I did. After I signed up and bought my two certificates the restaurant.com site started sending emails with other offers every day or two.

Are there any fees when using Paypal? That would eat up any savings IMO.

We have used Restaurant.com and have been pleased with the results.
Coupons for Giordano's which has thin crust and Chicago style deep dish pizza as well as The House of Blues.

As was stated use PayPal and you access your account and print off the coupons you have paid for. The coupons have no expiry.

We have not had any problems using the coupons. Do wait for the coupons to go 80% off and know you have to jump on any offers at mid-month because the good coupons are usually gone by the end of the month.

I used it for the first time this past summer. I had no issue with using the certificates at all. You do have to watch the fine print though...we ended up having to pay an 18% gratuity at a buffet.....It was at least $10 more than we would have left.

You do have to put in a zip code....I used my home address and then put in the ever popular 90210. I've used that also for buying things online from Costco (USA) and having it shipped to my WDW resort.

We've used it numerous times with great results!
