We're looking into getting a nanny, and I found a website - enanny- where you pay $149 for 3 months, to list yourself, and look through all the nannies. They provide a background check, but the rest is up to you. On the plus side, you can look thru all the resumes, etc. and you save the $1500-$2500 fees for other agencies. On the down side, there could be some nutcase out there trying to pass as a nanny, although, the nannies have to pay to register also, and a background check is provided. They also provide you with references. I'm considering going this route, but thought I'd check here, if anyone was familiar with this. Thanks!
