My digital camera is broken!! I don't want to fork over the money right now to buy a new one. I have seen that kodak makes a disposable digital camera, has anyone used them? If so, how were the pics? Would you use them again? Thanks!!! Trying to get ready for trip!!

I used one two summers ago when I was lucky enough to pack an extra since my digital broke while on the trip. They really weren't the best quality of prints and look a little grainy, especially those pictures taken inside. It was probably a 1 MP or so camera since the pictures are on par with others I took on my first digital camera. I'm not sure if the cameras have improved since then.

If it were me, I would stick with straight disposables and then get the prints developed and put onto cd. This way you would still be able to save the pictures the same way you keep your other digital pics

Most Kodak branded disposable cameras with a flash work well. I can say that because that is what we have used a lot of over the years. I was planning to purchase a digital camera for our December trip. But, I found the display of cameras 50% off at the Save Rite that was going out of business down the street from us and we are taking disposable cameras again. Hey for $5 each, who can gripe?!?! Maggie

Disposable cameras are great for kids and for taking a camera into an environment were you wouldn't want to take a valuable camera.

Overall, its a disposable camera with no controls (settings are all fixed) and a plastic lense too...make sure you take the photos in the ideal lighting conditions to get an average photo otherwise you are just spending money twice. Buying the camera and paying for development...

I agree...stick with the regular disposable and put the pictures on a pic CD. Oh and buy one before you get there. I decided to buy one at the parks to take out to Pleasure Island (didn't want to take my other camera) and paid like $15 at MK for it...and I only ended up taking one picture at PI!!! I ended up using the rest for pics that I was having CMs take.
