We are planning a trip for next september and hubby and I would like to do the all day behind the scenes tour but we are not sure if we will have another adult with us to stay with the four kids! So far the one sitter service I saw online charges around $23/hour for 4 kids! That would cost more than the tour! Has anyone ever used a sitter service while there and was it any less expensive!

Can't help you w/that, however here is an idea: You and DH take the tour on different days and the one not touring, can do something fun w/the kids. That way it is no extra $$ out of pocket for a sitter and the kids are with a favorite person doing something fun. I am sure you would also have to pay for any entertainment and meals w/a sitter as well. HTH.

That's deffinately a creative idea but I don't think I would enjoy it as much without DH! And I can just see the looks I would get if I suggested DH stay at the resorts with all 4 kids for the day!

It's been almost 9 years but we used Fairy Godmothers every day for 5 days. DD was 16 months at the time and we had a nanny come in from 8-5. Service was wonderful, they sent the same Nanny which was great. Warning: The lady that used to answer the phone can come off as scatter brained and cranky (I read the same from other posters), but the service was wonderful and at the time they were part of the Disney Preferred providers. I don't know if they are even still around, but our experience was great.
