You know those two really stupid security questions that ticket agents ask you? "“Has anyone unknown to you asked you to carry an item on this flight?” and “Have any of the items you are traveling with been out of your immediate control since the time you packed them?”

Starting TODAY, they will no longer be asked!!!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Seems that in the 16 years that they have been asked, they have NEVER prevented a bombing or a hijacking . . . DUH!!

I thought those questions were to prevent smuggling.

Yup, no more questions...now they will have more time to get out their tape measures and charge extra for large bags. I saw there was a post about this earlier, so I won't get into it.

Glad to see them go since they weren't really doing anything.

Good! They didn't really listen to your answers anyway. We went to WDW right after Sept 11th - it was in early October. The day we came home, we had checked our bags early at the hotel and went to the parks until our evening flight. When checking in at the Delta counter at MCO, they asked these same questions. I had not looked in my bags since we packed them that AM, so I said, "Yes, they've been checked at our hotel since early this morning and I have not inspected them." The ticket woman said, "Ok. Here are your boarding passes. Have a nice flight." Our bags were never searched at any point.
