I ask because we made an ADR for our upcoming trip and I am starting to get concerned. The reviews that I have found have been less then great, but that not recent. If you have been lately (a month or so) what did you think? I know things change quickly but I would love to hear a recent review. Thanks :thumbsup2

Coming to you from someone who eats at authentic Italian places in Brooklyn, Tony's beats most of the places in Little Italy and NYC. The calamari rocks, the strip steak and the salmon, service was amazing, great place. My favorite at Magic Kingdom.

Wow, it's such a relief to hear that!!! I too was wondering about my choice to make an ADR at Tony's...having lived in Manhattan for a year I was a HUGE fan of the food places in Little Italy...if TTS beats those places out then I know I made a GREAT choice!!!

Good to hear a good review finally! Most people seem to regard Tony's as a step above the Target snack counter! ;)

We eat there every trip and we make a lot of trips. The food is good and so is the atmosphere. Some of the best wait staff work at Tony's and from getting to know some of them I hear there is a waiting list to get to work there so all of the staff are very experienced.

If you have children in your party, here are a few tips for eating at Tony's:

1. Always request Pixie Dust. If you take an empty film container they will fill it for you. :wizard:
2. If you ask the wait person they will get the autographs of Tony. Lady and Tramp for you. Since the dogs can not come into the restaurant, thye have to take your books to the back! :rotfl:

Can't remember the name of the dish I had at Tony's last month (March), but it was really good. Had eggplant and spaghetti as main ingredients. An added treat was the fact that I, traveling solo, was seated outside on the front porch and just as my desert was being served the SpectoMagic Parade was passing by, and I had a super ringside seat.

On top of that, the waiter was one of the best it's ever been my pleasure to be served by. Needless to say, the tip was very generous.

Highly recommended.

Enjoy.

I didn't know they would do that. We are going in a week and Tony's in definitely on our schedule. I like the steak and at lunch the primavera.

This is the one restaurant we go to every year. We have always had great service and we love the atmosphere.

Another Tony's fan here....we eat atleast one meal there every trip. We love the food and the atmosphere. :thumbsup2

Tictoc-Thanks for the heads up. DD is a huge lady and the tramp fan. Thanks for all of the info. I think we will keep the ADR.

Have a magical time at one of my favorite restaurants! I only wish I could suggest George. He was may favorite waiter there for years, but he retired last year! You will have great service whomever you get though! One more tip--While you wiat there are usually some characters right around the corner in the Kodak Expo. It is the same building really since they connect. You can hardly miss them. Just make sure someone is listening for your name. Outside the patio is a big heart and written in chalk is Tramp Loves Lady! AND you must take a picture by the fountain inside!

we love tonys!!

try the butternut squash soup if it is on the menu - it is sooo good!
