Has anyone tried this? Transfering a napkin to cardstock?

Take a decorative napkin, card stock and saran wrap...
put the wrap over card stock then the napkin (one layer) then Iron. It transfers the napkin onto the card stock! I was in total shock! Not sure that I would do this...well ok I have to try it just once! But what a neat way to coordinate say a party scrap book page. A friend of mine showed this to me! The paper looks just like printed paper!

For years I have been collecting napkins. Every time I go to a party or such that has a pretty or interesting napkin I make sure I take home a few. I have a pretty good stack. I knew there was a method but I didn't know what it was. I thought it involved decoupage or something. Sounds interesting. I'm wondering if the method might work on tiles? Now to find my iron.

I have seen this on TV and I forgot about it, I think I will try it. I always save (clean) napkins from my travels to use in by scrapbooks. This might be a good way to use them.

And I've always just scanned and reprinted anything like that I wanted ot use.

What a great idea and a fun way to save the souvenier napkins.

I've also ironed napkins to freezer paper and made envelopes out of them or die cut them.

Do you put it face down? Then wont the writing be backwards? If someone tries this let me know, I am very interested.
