Deb Wills' website has a page on this, and it looks great. The price is kind of steep though - $135 per person. Has anyone tried this? Thanks for any input. Sue
My review is the one posted on Deb's site. The review speaks for itself. I thought it was a wonderful experience and the instructors were fantastic. Are you planning this for yourself?
A little over a year ago my 12 yr old DD went thru the course. I was able to watch & take pictures.
She loved the experience. They gave everyone a great deal of attention so that they would succeed in getting up on the surf board. They spend time on technique on dry land before they even put them into the water. Great experience. The price was worth it for us.
My dd15 really wants to try this as well. Only problem is, we'll be there while TL is closed for refurbishment. Do they operate the surf school at BB instead during this time, or is the surf school closed also?
My two brothers-in-law and I (all 30-something) did the surf school last April.
We unanimously agreed that it was one of the most fun things we have done at WDW. There were participants ranging in age from teenagers to much older and all levels of experience. The instructors were great - took time with everyone.
They even had a huge heater to stand by (it was a little cold that morning!).
Definately worth the cost - I can't wait to do it again.
