Has anyone tried the Kyriad Hotel?

I noticed that the Kyriad Hotel is a "partner' to Disneyland Paris. I am one to always want to stay on property, but being an American, a more "French" hotel is appealing!

It has transportation to the parks and looks quaint. I'm not really concerned about room quality as long as it is clean. DD11 and I really just need a place to lay our heads at night! The price is right, too!

Does anyone have any experiences? Good or bad?

Thanks!:goodvibes

sorry, i've never stayed there, so i can't hlp but i knw a few other posters have stayed there, hopefully someone will come along to give a hand!

We stayed there Easter 2007, and we were quite happy with it, for the price.

I did notice a dirty mark on the sheet when I went to get into bed, and slept on a towel that night, reported it the next morning and it was sorted.

We have since stayed at the Holiday Inn, and preferred that hotel, but that doesn't mean we wouldn't stay at the Kyriad again, if the price was right!

Hope this helps? :cutie:

We have stayed there twice and it was OK. It is OK. Clean and good value too.
But it is not Disney Hotel and you are not really on property. But you will have a nice experince anyway.

we stayed there summer 2006 and felt it was excellent value for money ,room was clean large french window in room tv,kettle ,air con, plenty of wardrobe space ,breakfast was good ,we had a late breakfast time given but we went down early and they let us in ,and as the weather was nice we sat out in the courtyard to eat (very parisian)! and as its the last hotel on the site you get a nice feeling of been in the countryside ,yet the park is about 8mins away on the shuttle bus. We never had much trouble getting on the bus in a morning as it was the first pick up point (very busy coming back)there was a bar and a disney shop in the hotel ,never used the bar as we stay at the parks till late (just fell into bed) but the bar was busy and the shop was nice we got a clock,a photo frame and some glasses from there as it saved us carrying them from the park. we also booked our luckey nugget meal at reception and the staff were very helpful ,I would definatly stay there again it was peaceful and relaxing and still close to the magic:wizard:

I've stayed there , too. No complaints. It's a good hotel with a good variety
of food to eat in the morning. The people there are also friendly. I enjoyed
my stay there.

We stayed there last year. It was a last minute deal for a shareholder preview so I didn't want to spend loads. I was impressed, it was very clean. They cleaned our room twice in one day, we had only just dropped our luggage off in the room & headed to the parks. When we came back later they had cleaned our room again:confused3

The staff were friendly & there was plenty of choice for breakfast. We used the shuttle no problem although it does get a little busy in the evenings but they seem to run 2 buses to help ease this.

I would definately stay there again.

Thank you all so much! This has been really helpful! It sounds like the perfect choice for DD and I, especially since we only need it for 2 nights. We'll be staying elsewhere in Paris to see the other sights!:goodvibes

iI've stayed there 3 or 4 times and it's good. I have noticed a big jump in price over the last 18 months but it's still reasonable compared to the on-site hotels. The location is great and the hotel clean and functional - there isn't a great deal of unique nature about it. I always want a hotel which is a base - I spend all my time at the park!

I did have one room once near the front of the hotel and some people were sat outside and it was noisy.

I would recommend it though.

I now tend to stay in somewhere like Val D'Europe and Bussy Saint George.

I have noticed this too but for all four "partner" hotels.
Two years ago you gould get the Holiday Inn during the week for 60-70€ if you book early enough. Now it is about 100€-120€ even during the week. :scared1:

This is especially scary for Americans like me. You almost have to double that price when you're talking dollars. The Kyriad is going to end up being one of our least expensive hotels!
