We stayed at BC at Christmastime and we really liked it. We had a 2BR, and I loved the washing machine/dryer right in the room, that was great to have no laundry when we came home! I wish I had known to ask for the fireworks view, I had read you could see them from BC and was wondering why we couldn't seem to see them.......lol
I also work for Bath & Body Works and the kids thought it was neat that the toiletries were from there. We did miss the Disney theming though, and in October we are staying at OKW and I hope there is more Disney theming there. Also we took cabs a few times to get back to the parks when the bus schedule was not convenient. I missed the Disney transportation. But we also loved having the full fridge and stove, we cooked a lot, which sounds like a pain on vacation, but sometimes you get sick of restaurant food. All in all it was great!
I read an earlier post about the new Hilton and Waldorf Astoria resorts. Does anyone know where these will be in relation to Wyndham Bonnet Creek resort?
I could see the construction when we were there in Dec/Jan, and it was right next to BC! One of the people that worked there told us the building we could see was the Waldorf, so that was pretty neat to be that close. They told us some of the suites there could go for 5000.00 a night! Wow!

The Hilton and Waldorf Astoria hotels are being built at the East end of the lake, adjacent to bldg #3 (Torre del Mar). Go to Google Maps, and search for Bonnet Creek, FL. You can see the construction area in the aerial view.

I have a BC shuttle schedule from August 2008. There are three WDW shuttles. One goes to Downtown Disney only. Another one goes to Hollywood Studios AND Animal Kingdom. And a third shuttle goes to Magic Kingdom AND Epcot. The last shuttle bus which leaves BC at 8:45 PM goes to MK only.

They cleared the area for the Hilton / Waldorf=Astoria buildings and golf course a couple years ago. So the actual construction doesn't appear on Google Maps but the clearings show where they're located. They're almost ready for occupancy, scheduled for October 2009. Supposedly the Wyndham hotel building at the Wyn BC resort will be opening in 2010.
