Has anyone traveled to India?

Amazing country. I love everything about their food, culture, cinema, people. But it will be overwhelming to you as a Westerner. Absorb it all in. But if you're a single female traveling there, just watch your step. Some of the cities can be a little rough.

Yep. But since we're on the topic, several female Indian colleagues of mine have recently told me that they will no longer travel alone when they go home; they consider it too dangerous.

I definitely wouldn't go without my husband to India and I know how to behave appropriately there. It's not safe for women there.
