I'm specifically wondering about the Jack the Ripper tour that starts around 7:30 p.m. near Tower Hill Tube. If you have done this Walk - is it scary at all? It just sounds so cool from the brochure, but that's what brochures are supposed to do, right? Any opinions would be welcome!!

I can't wait to get over there to see (and hear) something different!!! From my map, it doesn't look like Tower Hill is too difficult to get to from Victoria Station.

Thanks for your help!!!

Jane, we did three of them a few weeks ago, Didn't do the Jack the Ripper tour, but did do Hampstead and a Shakespeare one, which were great, and a British Museum one which was so-so. Have done a pub walking tour in Chelsea before, which was also great. Would have done it this year, but we had our youngest with, and the nights get long. Regarding the Tower, make sure you take the guided Beefeater tour when there. No charge, but a tip is common. Don't have an underground map with me now, but you can get from one place to another real easy on them. AND, DON'T take a bus back to Heathrow if you want to make your flight. Do the train or underground.
