Has anyone stayed @ The Blue Heron Beach Resort

My DW and I,along with our two DD 14 & 4 will be staying at the Blue Heron from July 28th -Aug 6th.Has anyone ever stayed here before?I looked at trip adviser and all the reviews were great.We like the idea of a villa,but only being 1 mile fron disney.Any info would be great.BTW we will have a rental car,so getting to the park wont be a problem.

Hi I am a new poster, but frequent lurker. My aunt and uncle and their three (preteen and teenage) boys just came back from the Blue Heron Beach Resort on Sunday. They loved it. They said it literally took 3-5 minutes to get to the parks. The pools were great. They could see the fireworks from their balcony. There were a lot of good restaurants within walking distance. The only complaint was that the beds were uncomfortable (except for the bunks which were apparently fine).

My family (self, hubby, two munchkins, brother and parents) were waiting on their report and now we are booked for May 09.

Interested to hear from others as well.

Thanks alot for the great info.We go in a few weeks and will let you know how our stay goes.From what I have read the hotel is only a couple of years old.
